Two hundred years after a fallen angel turned humanity's own machines against it, the dead have nowhere to go — so the desperate, the powerful, and the industrious learned to catch souls and put them to work. Everything below is canon, in the order you actually need it.
The full crunch stack every character is built from — ancestry, heritage, background, gear, feats, and multiclass options.
The confirmed ten-class starting roster, plus two bonus/rare-access classes (Vigil, Reckoner) outside it.
The newest work (Aug 28) — full crunch for every spell and non-caster ability system. Written and complete, but flagged by the docs themselves as a homebrew math pass, not yet balance-checked or built into Foundry.
Reference material — not needed to build a character, essential once you're playing one.
Pulled straight from the project's own status notes and roadmaps — not new analysis, just gathered in one spot.
Ratkin (added 8/27) has full base traits and a complete 5-tier feat line, but no heritage options yet — the one ancestry gap left. Every other ancestry has 3–4 heritages; Ratkin has none.
The Aug 28 spell and ability crunch (spellcasting-framework.md, spells-signature.md, spells-full.md, class-abilities.md) is written in full but self-flagged DRAFT: the damage/DC math is a homebrew approximation never checked against real Pathfinder 2e tables, and none of it has been built into Foundry as real Items yet — unlike ancestries, heritage, and feats, which already have.
Nothing in the project stats an actual monster. Ghost-machines and raging spirits are core to every class and half the lore, but none has a stat block.
Setting-Bible.md sketches six named regions (Yankee Combine, Dixie Territories, Drowned Coast, New Veracruz, the Glasslands, Free Havens) but no visual map or named settlements exist yet.
There's a full character-creation system and nothing to run it through — no starting adventure, no session-zero one-shot.
The Choir of Ash cult writeup, a faction relationship tracker, and Uriel's full stat block + prison-vault dungeon were all proposed in the Setting Bible's own "next steps" list on 8/21 and haven't been touched since.
start-here.md still says "10 confirmed ancestries" and calls the series "complete" — it predates Ratkin and the entire magic system and could use a pass to catch both up.
